Steve Grant is an accomplished commercial and enterprise leader with decades of experience driving growth across the life sciences sector. As Fractional Business & Commercial Officer, he leads commercialization strategy, business development, and revenue expansion initiatives.
Mr. Grant has held senior leadership roles across startups and established organizations, overseeing global partnerships, market entry strategies, and commercial scaling. His experience includes M&A support, channel and distribution strategy, and execution across domestic and international markets.

As an Enterprise Leader, Stephen has managed business units in excess of $950M and has grown sales substantially throughout his years with various companies from established to start-up. During his time, he has been responsible for growing yearly revenue by no less than 20% and as high as 70%. He has management experience on the business development/marketing and operations side as well as start- up experience. He has led direct BD, Operations and Service teams worldwide and has always served as a “player/coach”. His industry contact database exceeds 13,000 names from Director to “C” level. He also has strong distribution/channel partner experience working with the domestic and international units at Thermo, VWR/Avantor, Cytiva and Danaher along with a multitude of regional distribution entities worldwide.
Stephen has extensive experience in M&A, domestic and international academic start-ups, including MicroDot, TruMeLabs, BioHalo, Cellestial Health, PHixed Inc., AquaGelPonics, Quantum Mask, PBSC, Cellestial Health/UK, OncoSwab, Myconaut, Eascra, Scalables, BioDelivera, BioNutura, OuroBio, PHixed, Inc., Pioneera as well as several VC funding and collaborative life science partnerships. He has raised over $115M for several startups including some mentioned above as well as leading another six companies through successful exits.
